When Life Feels Unbearable, Remember This

When Life Feels Unbearable, Remember This

I know life can be unbearable at times.
Not just difficult. Not just stressful. I mean the kind of unbearable where you genuinely cannot see a way out of the mess you're in. Where every door looks closed, every option looks exhausted, and the weight of it all just sits on your chest like something you can't shake.

I'm writing this today, April 24th 2026, a reminder for you, but honestly, a reminder for myself too.

So let's talk.
Things may seem like they're not working out right now. And from where you're standing, looking at the circumstances, the evidence, the reality of what's in front of you,  it really can look that way. But here's what I want you to hold onto, the physical reality is not the final verdict.

What you see in front of you is not the whole story. It never is.
What matters more than what's happening around you is what you know to be true on the inside. Deep down, beneath the noise and the fear and the worst-case scenarios your mind keeps running, there is something in you that knows. It knows you're not finished. It knows this isn't the end. That subtle knowing? That's the thing worth listening to.

Who you are being in this moment matters more than what this moment looks like.
It doesn't matter if everything around you looks like it's crumbling. Let me tell you plainly,  you are safe.
I'm not saying that lightly. I mean it in the deepest sense.

When God is your very presence, not some distant figure you're hoping will show up, but the actual awareness that you are, right now, in this moment,  what is there to be afraid of? Think about that. You're afraid God doesn't have your back? God is your awareness. The awareness that is aware of the body, aware of the stories spinning in your head, aware of everything happening around you, that is God. Right here. Right now. Already present.
If you're still standing here breathing, he's not done with you.

That's not a motivational line. That's just the truth. You being here, still aware, still reading this, that itself is proof that something greater is still at work in your life.

Never lose hope. I don't care how dire the situation looks. The financial one, the relationship one, the health one, the one you haven't told anyone about, no problem is bigger than the infinite intelligence that God is.

The same intelligence that keeps your heart beating without you asking it to. The same intelligence that turns winter into spring without anyone forcing it. That intelligence is not confused about your situation. It's not overwhelmed. It's not wondering what to do.

It already knows. And it's already moving on your behalf, even when you can't see it.
So here's what I want you to do, or rather, what I want you to stop doing.

Stop fighting so hard. Stop trying to control every outcome. I know it feels like if you just think hard enough, plan well enough, worry thoroughly enough, you'll find the answer. But you've been gripping this for too long. You're exhausted, and you know it.

Let go.

Not because you're giving up. But because surrender isn't weakness,  it's wisdom. It's recognizing that you were never meant to carry all of this alone. Hand it to God. Actually hand it over. And then let yourself breathe.

You are going to be fine.

Actually, you're doing great. Even if it doesn't feel like it. Even if you can't see evidence of it yet. Nothing is going wrong. Everything, as strange as this might sound right now, is happening perfectly. The detours, the delays, the things that fell apart, they are part of it, not proof against it.

You may not be able to see the road ahead. That's okay. You don't need to see the whole road. You just need to trust that the one who laid it knows exactly where it leads.

God has you. He's always had you.
And so, take a breath. Keep going.
